Aquabar b floor and tile underlayment is an extremely effective moisture vapor retarder for use in a variety of interior construction applications. Blue shield grade 3030 is a high grade flexible semi permeable moisture barrier designed for tile and wood flooring underlayment. Floating floors can be installed over any existing hard floor surface but should have an underlayment between the laminate flooring and the subfloor. The floor trim around the edges holds it all down.
