Applying Laminate Sheets

This part may seem counter intuitive but you need to let both sides dry completely before attaching them together.

Applying laminate sheets. Let the contact cement dry for 15 to 20 minutes. It takes about 20 minutes. Starting at one end of the sheet remove the first wood strip or dowel and use a j roller to press the new sheet down onto the counter bonding the two pieces together.

Apply a thin even coating of cement to both the substrate and the laminate using a foam paint roller.
